Driving in at daybreak to find LEV sitting in a school desk, reading the paper, in the middle of the swimming pool(dry and filled in with dirt). And Lolly's famous and amazing fruit cobblers.

Putting up old truck 3 and racing remote cars from the basket. Also all of Bruce Jacobson's friends breaking into his camper and sleeping in it!

Or have them crawl up through the drain while showering or brushing your teeth. Do you remember the “Bug Man” that came out to fix our infestation? He was a character. Good times!

Best part of being stationed there was going to bed at night and feeling the earwigs drop down from the ceiling on you

That's my Beige Nissan truck - Best part was RC off road trucks with sky view from T-3 Basket

Yes, the big top was good times. On shift the guy broke into Bruce’s car and Gary Martin said he is still on property and spread us out in a military style fashion. I was the first person to see the guy hiding in the bushes and I tactfully walk past him and got on the radio and we caught the guy. Great memories. Tim

Speaking of Wally......wasn't it him that was showing his family the truck and extended the main ladder with the roof ladder strapped on......bang! I think we all heard the straps snap.

It was a sh## hole for a fire station, but it was the only one that had an upright piano and every f/f that came to that ? station ?, that could play, would play that piano. It's not much but it provided a modicum of novelty and joy.

Yes but remember nice times at the fireplace with Chavez,Gary Martin, Mike rebar finger McConner, Bruce Jacoboson, Tim Young, Jeff the surf Newell, and of coarse Chris Moyer with his forever class on as a rookie on oral sex and Aids. Ricky Biggs I know you remember. A classic! !!!
Yep, it was a special place. Verbeck and me raced our RC trucks from the basket....on Saturday equipment check.....Ray was impressed when I fabricated a part for his truck from an old C-collar. It was nice to kick back to a cozy fire in the fireplace. Ted Needle
