Station 7 exploded Tar truck
The damage shown is the result of a chemical explosion that occurred May 13, 1980, in front of Station 7 when a truck owned by the Urethane Roofing Company stopped in front after the driver observed smoke coming from a chemical tank in the rear of his truck. The truck was demolished by the force of the explosion. There were no injuries.
